Portugal thrash Turkey 4-0 to maintain 100% record and book a place in the knockout stages

Portugal has maintained their 100% record at the European Championship 2024 after thrashing Turkey 4-0 to book a place in the knockout stages. Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes were the stars for the defending champions, with each scoring a goal and adding an assist.

Turkey had no answer to Portugal's attacking prowess, and they were fortunate to only lose by four goals. Portugal started the game strongly, and they took the lead in the 15th minute when Ronaldo set up Fernandes for a tap-in. Ronaldo then made it 2-0 in the 27th minute with a stunning free-kick.

Portugal continued to dominate the game in the second half, and they added two more goals in the space of three minutes. Joao Felix made it 3-0 in the 61st minute, and Goncalo Guedes added a fourth in the 64th minute.

The win means that Portugal has now won all four of their games at the Euros, and they have qualified for the knockout stage as group winners. Turkey, meanwhile, has finished bottom of the group with no points.
